This app is dedicated to all the children who love to draw on their parents iPhone but would appreciate a simpler app.
The other day we were watching our young niece play with her Daddys iPhone. She LOVES to draw on with it. But we noticed that the controls for the drawing app she was using were way too complicated. She often got stuck in a settings window and didnt know how to get out. She would have to ask her Daddy for help. Also, when she drew a cool drawing, she didnt know how to save it. She again had to ask her Daddy for help. So we thought "Wouldnt it be great if we made an app that had super-simple controls for kids? And what if we made it were it was impossible for the kid to go into a screen where they couldnt get out (barring that they didnt hit the home button)?" Thus, the inspiration for Kid Art was born, and the rest is history.

My 3yr old loves playing with this app, lots of fun and being able to save his work is great.
A great bargain for the price for sure. My 3 year old daughter is a HUGE fan - her favorite part is getting to save her pictures (which we then email to daddy) and getting to shake it to clear the slate. Really great for restaurant waits, dr. office waits or just for a moment of peace and quiet. ;)
The only thing I would love to see added is a paint bucket to fill in large spaces - but really, no big complaints! You can even change the background colour which is awesome!
My 2.5 year old loved this. It was easy to use and she got the different options (shake to erase:)
East for my daughter to use. She doesnt have to go into other screens to change colours. Love the save feature. Needs a "clear" function - maybe in top right or left corner?
Great simple drawing app. Love the shake-to-erase function and the option to have white or blackgrounds.
This is one of the best apps ever. It does everything I need and whatever u draw can be your wallpaper!!!!!! I love it
Some bad moments
My four year old loves this! It is worth the low cost even for the first uses. I recommend this if you have wee ones.
My son LOVES this app...that is until I installed the upgrade and it no longer works on my ipod - only my iphone. Please help. I want the app available on the ipod too! Totally 5 stars when it can work on both units.
Good application. Simple to use. But how to erase or open a new blank page? Have to turn off the appl and then turn it on...really annoying.
This app is COMPLETELY worthless and should not even be .99. I cannot belive I wasted my life on this app. :/
I am a technology specialist in a school so I am a good judge of educational apps and this app is very weak. Save your $.99 for a cup of coffee.
Be careful, sold as iPad compatible, but it looks terrible. Dont buy it until they have a proper iPad version.
